WPM ZD-17OD

Equipment notes

The ZD-17OD is an on-demand (OD) electric grinder from WPM (Welhome). It turns conical steel burrs through a belt drive with dual bearings to reduce disc movement and heat transfer, pairing on-demand grinding, triggered by resting a portafilter against the holder, with stepless adjustment. The conical steel burrs lean toward body and texture, and the belt drive steadies rotation to limit heat build-up. Stepless adjustment moves smoothly through fine increments between settings, favoring precise espresso dial-in. It fits home and small-scale users who grind on demand as needed and want the fine, continuous adjustment of a stepless mechanism for espresso.
