Equipment notes

The BelleLife BLF-CG011 is an entry-level home electric grinder built around a stainless conical burr. A 1.15kg body carries an 80g hopper and a 150g grounds container, and a 200W motor turns the burr at low speed. You set the grind across 40 steps by turning the hopper, then dial a grind time in 10-second increments up to 60 seconds; the motor stops on its own when the time runs out. The hopper doubles as the adjustment ring, and higher numbers mean coarser grounds. The manufacturer's guide divides the range into bands for espresso, moka pot, hand drip and french press, from fine to coarse. The steel burr cuts more cleanly than ceramic, so fines drop noticeably if you are coming from a blade mill, and the anti-static design plus the included tapper that knocks leftover grounds out of the body keep cleanup light. Step resolution is coarse, though, so the espresso end is approximate, and continuous running is capped at six minutes. It fits home users moving off a blade mill who want fewer fines, and people who mainly brew drip and french press and want a one-button dose.
