De'Longhi is an Italian home-appliance brand, and the KG89 is its entry-level electric burr grinder. It uses flat steel burrs and changes grind size on a clicked scale, a low-cost appliance aimed mainly at home filter brewing such as drip and French press. Even with flat burrs, an entry appliance grade offers limited burr precision and motor/alignment tolerance, so the particle distribution is wider and carries more fines than a dedicated grinder. The click steps make settings easy to repeat, but resolution is insufficient for targeting fine ranges like espresso. It is focused on easily setting everyday drip and French press coarseness. It suits entry users who want to grind their own beans affordably, for light use centered on drip and French press. Precise espresso dial-in is limited.
