Equipment notes

Goat Story's Arco is a 2-in-1 grinder from the Slovenian brand Goat Story, built around a hybrid design that can be hand-cranked or driven by a dedicated electric dock. It sets a conical stainless steel burr into a unibody milled from a single block of aluminium, and has drawn repeated attention for its design. The conical steel burr brings a fuller body and the wide particle spread typical of the shape, cutting cleanly in steel. Adjustment follows a dense rotation-based scale to set grind size, covering Turkish through espresso, filter, French press and cold brew. The electric dock is designed to run at low rpm to limit heat build-up. It suits someone who wants to move between manual freedom and electric convenience in one unit, and who prefers single dosing to minimise retention while exploring a wide brew range. This entry covers production ARCO with 60 positions per rotation and 240 settings over four rotations, excluding the prototype versions.
