The Lumi V25 is an electric grinder in MariSteiger's Lumi line, distributed mainly through the Korean market. The Lumi series emphasizes portability and rechargeable operation, and unlike other Lumi models with ceramic burrs, the V25 uses a steel burr. It uses a conical steel burr. The steel edge cuts cleanly and starts sharper than ceramic, while the conical shape passes somewhat more fines, favoring a cup with body. Grind size is set with stepped adjustment. Heat can be somewhat higher than with ceramic, but the cutting edge stays keen. It suits users within a portable line who prefer the defined cut of a steel burr, and those combining travel or camping with home use.
