Melitta is a German brand well known for inventing the paper coffee filter, and the Molino is its entry-level household electric burr grinder. With a bean hopper, a grounds container, cup and coarseness selection, and a safety lock, it is a simple, easy-to-handle countertop unit sitting below the higher Calibra. Steel flat burrs grind beans between two discs, biasing toward particle uniformity and a clean cup. Coarseness adjusts in fixed steps, favoring recall of frequently used positions, and burr operation limits heat relative to a blade. The setting scale guides points per brew method from near-espresso fine through drip to the coarse side of French press, but its practical strength lies in the medium-to-coarse filter zone.
