Guide Notes

Given the large bean size of the Pacamara variety and its washed processing, we progressively increase the pour volume to build body and sweetness layering through the extraction.

Leveraging the fast flow of the Orea V4 Narrow, we use a high temperature of 93°C to fully extract the complex flavor compounds of the Pacamara without risking over-extraction from stalling.

A 1:16 ratio was chosen to match your preference for balanced flavors. Smaller early pours preserve delicate acidity, while larger later pours reinforce the mouthfeel.

A medium setting of 24 clicks on the Comandante ensures smooth drainage through the Orea's narrow geometry while maintaining clean tasting notes.
