Brewista, founded in 2014 in Wyoming, USA, made its name with gooseneck electric kettles and smart scales before turning to brewers. The Magic Dripper takes the one trait every dripper usually has fixed at the factory, its extraction character, and makes it swappable: one brewer meant to adapt to the bean, the roast, and the grind. The principle is a detachable floor. The 60-degree conical body has a ribless inner wall, so the paper filter sits flush and bypass around the coffee bed is suppressed. Flow rate and character are then decided by the bottom module, which attaches magnetically. Because rib count and the convexity of the floor reshape the water path and contact time, swapping a single module moves the same body between faster, cleaner brews and slower, fuller ones. In use it behaves like any conical pourover: seat a V60-size cone filter, bloom, and pour in stages, with the standard V module giving a balanced cup. Modules snap on and off magnetically with no tools, and the Tritan body is light and hard to break. This is a dripper for the experimenting brewer who wants to change flow and character with every new bag of beans.
