The Feldgrind is a hand grinder designed and hand-assembled by Made By Knock in Scotland. It pairs a light body of anodized aluminum and stainless steel with hardened conical steel burrs, sitting alongside the Aergrind and Feld family as a classic, portable single-dosing hand mill. A conical burr tends to preserve body while carrying some fines. Adjustment is stepped through a numbered dial, so settings are easy to return to, and the grinder is most at home in pour-over, Aeropress and filter brewing. Espresso is possible only across a limited range, so it is best treated as a filter-focused tool. It suits drinkers who want to hand-grind their daily filter coffee and travelers who need a consistent grind away from a power outlet.
