The Duo is a British-designed flat-burr single-dose grinder from Niche. After making its name with low-retention single-dose home grinders and the conical Zero, Niche extended the range with an 83mm flat-burr platform in the Duo. Flat burrs cut particles evenly, lifting uniformity and clarity. The Duo is built to run separate espresso and filter burr sets, letting one machine hold two distinct characters. It pairs an aluminium body with oak trim and uses a stepless motorised dial for fine setting. It suits single-dose users who want to grind changing coffees without waste, and home enthusiasts who want to switch between espresso and filter using a burr matched to each purpose.
