Equipment notes
WaBliss is a Korean brand that plans and sells its own coffee grinders and drip gear. The SF64S sits at the upper end of that lineup, an electric 64mm flat burr grinder that arrived well below the usual entry price for flat burr machines and targets both home users and cafes looking for a second grinder. Much of its reputation in Korean communities comes from the option to fit SSP burrs. The burr set is uncoated stainless flat, offered in 3-cut or 5-cut versions that differ in grinding speed, and swappable for SSP HU or SSP MP. Adjustment is stepless with a printed scale, so any value between marks is usable. A low speed, high torque DC motor paired with a planetary reduction gear grinds slowly, while a plasma generator neutralizes static on the grounds to limit mess and clumping. The narrow particle distribution of a flat burr keeps fines lower than a comparable conical, and the slow grinding speed holds frictional heat and fines down further. The cup leans toward clarity and sweetness rather than heavy body. For pour over, start near the middle of the scale and narrow in while watching the drawdown. It fits a home user who wants a first taste of flat burr clarity without a large jump in price, and a cafe that needs one more grinder beside its main machine.
