Femobook is a Taiwanese brand that builds compact battery-driven electric grinders, and the A4Z is its cordless model designed for filter only. The Z in the name is the 48 mm stainless conical burr carried over from the 1Zpresso ZP6; think of it as that hand-grinder burr handed to a motor. It takes up to 30 g of beans at a time. Adjustment is stepped at 100 clicks per rotation. The motor turns slowly at 54 rpm, which keeps heat low but makes even a single dose take a while, and it shuts off after 90 seconds. Three 18650 cells are replaceable and charge over USB-C. It weighs 2.6 kg. The low fines and high clarity of the ZP6 burr carry straight over, so the cup reads bright and aromatic with a light body. Espresso fineness is not a goal of this burr design; for pour over, start around a medium grind and adjust by watching the flow. It suits someone who wants the ZP6 cup without hand cranking, or who grinds filter coffee where there is no outlet.
