Equipment notes

The K7 is a higher-tier manual (hand) grinder from the Taiwanese brand KINGrinder. It uses a stainless-steel seven-edged (heptagonal) conical burr, with a larger burr diameter than the K5 that places it among large-burr hand mills. Notable features are a top-mounted adjustment dial and a triple-bearing supported central shaft that reduces wobble during grinding. As a burr grows larger it cuts more per pass and the shaft runs steadier, which tends to improve particle uniformity and setting repeatability. The conical geometry still leans toward building body, but the large burr and stable shaft together grind evenly even in coarser ranges. The stepped clicks of the top dial are divided into fine increments, covering fine espresso through coarse immersion. It suits home users who want large-burr-class performance without electricity, and pour-over enthusiasts who want one grinder to cover everything including espresso.
