The Kinu M47 Classic is the flagship manual hand grinder of the German brand Kinu, a high-precision model with a large 47 mm conical steel burr. The burr is hardened to 63 HRC with a black-fusion treatment for durability and performance, and the body and internal parts are all metal. Adjustment is stepless, with an auto-centring burr based on the Morse-cone principle and multiple ball bearings holding the axle steady. Because it can stop at any point between marks, extremely fine gap adjustments are possible. The large conical burr helps throughput and consistency, and the stepless mechanism lets you move settings continuously from the fine espresso zone through filter to French press.
