Option-O Lagom P64

Equipment notes

The Lagom P64 is a 64mm flat steel-burr electric single-dosing grinder from the Australian brand Option-O (Melbourne). It combines stepless adjustment with a variable-speed BLDC motor and lets you fit either the brand's own Mizen burrs or third-party SSP burrs. An all-metal build and low-retention design suit a shot-at-a-time dial-in workflow. Flat burrs tend to narrow the particle distribution, raising uniformity and clarity, and the 64mm size adds throughput and consistency. Fine-pitched stepless adjustment allows precise micro-moves for espresso, while a speed-adjustable motor gives room to manage heat and fines. Burr choice shifts the character from omni to espresso-focused, covering a wide range from French press to espresso. It fits enthusiasts who tune the cup by swapping burrs, and home users who prioritise espresso clarity.
