UFO is a dripper brand designed by 3D-printing designer Kenzie Chay and barista Jay Kim and produced in Korea. Built on the same design philosophy of keeping a cone's cup profile while sharply improving consistency, the V3 is the newest model, scaling the lineup up to an 02 size that handles multi-cup brews. The 80-degree wall that spreads a shallow, flat bed and the air channels that prevent vacuum stalling carry over unchanged, while the enlarged chamber and further-opened airflow keep drawdown from dragging even on big batches. A detachable base makes cleaning easier, and swapping that base for a Hario Switch turns it into a hybrid immersion brewer that can hold water before release. Cone filters do not fit; it takes flat papers only, such as Sibarist FAST Flat or B3, and with fast papers a grind finer than a typical V60 suits it. It is a dripper for brewers who want to pour generously for guests in one go and still have an immersion playground in the same brewer.
