Turin is a US-based brand, and its DF series is a value-oriented single-dose electric grinder line manufactured in China. The DF54 is the most compact model, carrying 54mm stainless steel flat burrs and distilling the DF64 Gen 2 layout into a smaller body. It is a single-dose machine with a stepless adjustment dial. Flat burrs narrow the particle distribution toward clarity, and the small 54mm diameter is modest in throughput and heat handling yet ample for home single-dosing. Stepless adjustment lets you fine-tune seamlessly from the fine espresso zone into filter, giving it an all-round character for moving between espresso and drip on one machine. Adjustment is intuitive via an external dial. It suits entry to intermediate users who want flat-burr uniformity on a compact footprint, and home baristas running both espresso and filter from a single grinder.
