Turin DF83

Equipment notes

The DF83 is a grinder from Turin, a US-based brand behind a widely rebadged single-dose grinder platform, with products manufactured in China. The DF83 sits near the top of that home and prosumer lineup, pairing 83mm flat burrs with a dosing cup and a static-reducing chute in a single-dose electric format. The large 83mm flat steel burrs shear beans into an even particle field for a clean, articulate cup, while the wide diameter supports steady throughput and consistency. Stepless micro-adjustment allows fine espresso dial-in, and the single-dose path with static suppression keeps grounds retention low. It suits home enthusiasts and small preparation setups that want one grinder for espresso through filter but value the clarity of large flat burrs and precise, repeatable adjustment.
