Wilfa Uniform

Equipment notes

The Wilfa Uniform is an electric single-dose grinder from Wilfa, a Norwegian small-appliance brand based in Oslo. It was developed with home filter brewing in mind and pairs a restrained Nordic design with everyday practicality. At its core are 58mm flat steel burrs. Flat geometry gathers particles evenly, raising uniformity and cup transparency, which reduces muddiness and clarifies aroma and acidity. Adjustment follows numbered settings, so a chosen filter grind is easy to recall and repeat. The single-dose layout handles one brew at a time, keeping grounds fresh and the path clean. It fits a home brewer who leans toward pour over and filter rather than espresso and wants flat-burr clarity with repeatable settings.
