This is the S size of the Air line, which carries the Origami dripper's twenty-rib design over into lightweight AS resin. It keeps the shape and filter compatibility of the Minoyaki porcelain original while rethinking weight and durability for everyday use and travel. The internal structure is the same as the porcelain version: twenty ribs open space between the wall and the filter so water and air move freely, and both cone and wave filters fit. The resin body holds less heat than porcelain, but it also draws less heat from the water, so the brew temperature stays stable even without preheating, and the maker cites roughly half the weight of the porcelain model. Start with a cone filter for a bright cup with texture intact, and a wave filter for sweetness and body. A common guideline is to set the water slightly cooler for cone filters and slightly hotter for wave. This is a dripper for the traveler who wants the same cup away from home, and for anyone after a light, unbreakable everyday brewer.
