The ZP6 Special is 1Zpresso's (a Taiwan brand, made in China) relaunch of the filter-only ZP6 line with upgraded adjustment precision. It uses the same 48mm hexagonal conical steel burrs, but divides the grind-size step per click more finely so you can settle on your target point with greater precision. Adjustment is external. The hexagonal burrs suppress fines to approach flat-burr uniformity and clarity, and the finer click resolution makes fine pour-over dial-in easier than the standard model. Its range stays concentrated in the filter band and does not reach the fine espresso zone. External adjustment lets you shift grind size against a visible scale without disassembly, making per-cup tweaks convenient. It suits pour-over enthusiasts who prioritize filter clarity and enjoy making fine grind adjustments cup by cup.
