1Zpresso is a Taiwan-based brand whose grinders are produced in its own factory in China. The K-Ultra is the all-round flagship of the K series, a hand-cranked manual grinder. It carries large 48mm conical steel burrs, and grind size is set with an external dial at the top of the burr assembly rather than at the base. Conical burrs pass slightly more fines than flat burrs and lean toward a fuller-bodied cup, while the large 48mm format raises throughput and consistency across successive grinds. Its range reaches down into espresso, so one grinder covers filter through espresso as an all-rounder. The stepped dial locks at each mark, and external adjustment lets you shift grind size against a visible scale without disassembly, which is convenient when moving between brew methods. It suits users who want a single grinder for both pour-over and espresso and who prefer the intuitive feel of external adjustment.
