The 1Zpresso JX is a landmark early model of the J line, where Taiwan's 1Zpresso first popularized a 48mm conical steel burr. It is a manual grinder with internal adjustment set below the burr and a threaded catch cup, an all-rounder aimed broadly at filter brewing. The conical steel burr cuts the beans, producing fines with body, and its stepped clicks make settings easy to repeat. Internal adjustment is more of a chore for grind changes than the JX-Pro's top adjustment, and its larger per-click travel gives coarser resolution but quick movement into the coarse end. It is widely used across filter methods such as pour-over, French press and AeroPress. It fits beginner to intermediate users who want one grinder for varied filter brewing. For finer adjustment or espresso reach, the JX S or JX-Pro are better suited.
