Mahlkönig is a precision grinding brand that started in Hamburg, Germany in 1924, now part of the Hemro Group. The GH2 is a commercial retail and lab grinder based on the group's HeyCafe HC-880, a high-capacity shop grinder covering a wide span from espresso to very coarse. Its large electric flat steel burrs cut a large volume evenly in one pass, holding the uniformity typical of a flat burr while delivering high throughput. Stepless adjustment lands continuously on a target fineness without click boundaries, so it handles a broad range from Turkish-fine to French-press-coarse in fine steps. It suits retail shops that must serve bean sales and varied grind requests, and commercial or lab settings that process several brew methods in volume on one machine.
