A modular flat-bottom dripper from Orea, a small brewing equipment brand based in London. Orea grew out of its founder's search for a compact brewer to take travelling and camping, refined its shape through the V2 and V3, and designed the V4 around one goal: four ways of brewing in a single funnel. The V4 won a 2023 European Product Design Award. The Narrow uses a 73-degree wall geometry. The heart of the brewer is its interchangeable bottoms: four plates named Classic, Open, Fast and Apex change where water meets the bed and how it exits, tuning flow rate so the same coffee can show a different extraction profile with a simple swap. Both wave and flat filters fit, widening the range of combinations. Under the same conditions the Narrow tends to draw down faster than the Wide, and Orea describes it as leaning toward brightness and intensity, while the Wide favours body and balance. It is sized for single cups and small batches, and 2024 World Brewers Cup champion Martin Wölfl competed with a V4 Narrow. This is a dripper for brewers who want to experiment with flow using a single device.
