The Sette 270 Wi is the top weighing model in Baratza's Sette line. Baratza is a US grinder specialist founded in 1999 and acquired by Breville Group in 2020, and the 270 Wi adds Bluetooth connectivity and self-adjustment on top of the acaia-based scale. The "i" refers to intelligent behavior: the grinder calculates and self-corrects the next dose after a change in bean or grind size. The burrset is the same steel conical, straight-through design as the 270 W. The outer ring burr rotates while the inner cone stays fixed, so grounds fall vertically with very low retention, and the body-forward conical particle is set with combined macro and micro steps. Weight-based dosing plus self-correction converges on the target weight faster.
