The Virtuoso+ is US grinder specialist Baratza's upgraded version of the Virtuoso, a home filter electric grinder. Baratza was founded in 1999 and acquired by Breville Group in 2020, and the Virtuoso+ fits an improved burrset and widens the adjustment range to raise the completeness of filter-focused home brewing. It keeps the steel conical burr with stepped adjustment, but the improved burrset delivers clarity and uniformity that are excellent for a cone. It retains conical body while extending the range to comfortably cover coarser steeping methods, so it can be used broadly toward the coarse side beyond espresso. Sharp steel cutting and stepped adjustment give high repeatability. It suits home users who center on filter brewing but also want to handle coarse extractions such as French press broadly on one machine.
