Equipment notes
The Atom 60 is an on-demand espresso grinder from Eureka, the Italian grinder maker. Handcrafted in Florence, Eureka offers it as the compact model of the Atom line, built around a 60mm flat steel burr that serves both home and small shops. The 60mm flat steel burr aligns particles evenly to provide the uniformity and stable extraction that espresso demands, and stepless micrometric adjustment enables fine dialing free of detents. Quiet operation and clump- and static-reducing structures improve dosing consistency, reducing cup-to-cup variance. It fits the home barista who wants to seriously dial in espresso, and the small cafe operator after a quiet yet uniform on-demand grinder.
