Comandante C40 MK4 (with Red Clix)

This configuration is a Comandante C40 MK4 fitted with the optional Red Clix RX35 fine-adjustment axle. The body, the 39 mm conical Nitro Blade burr, and the hand-built German construction are identical to the standard MK4; only the adjustment axle and its dedicated red grind dial are swapped for an ultra-fine thread. That fine thread doubles the number of click steps per revolution, splitting the same rotation into finer increments. The red dial and RX35 axle must always be used together, as mixing them with other parts damages the precision thread. Because the burr geometry is unchanged from the standard MK4, the conical character in body and uniformity stays the same, but the closer spacing between clicks lets you land a target more precisely, especially in the fine espresso zone. Filter and French press settings can also be dialled in more finely. It suits MK4 owners who want higher adjustment resolution for espresso or very fine brewing.
