The Comandante C40 Lab Tigershark is a Lab Series edition built on the C40 MK4 platform, hand-made in Germany. Its body and mechanics are the same as the standard MK4; the difference lies in the burr geometry. The Tigershark burr, developed at the Bavarian Burr Lab, uses a Double Shark-Tip structure engineered for maximum cutting power, so it processes even hard, light roasts with ease. The point is a purpose-designed burr aimed at a cup profile, not a colour or limited-run label. This burr aims at a more precise, cleaner particle character than the standard Nitro Blade, giving a cup with bright acidity and distinct nuance. With a 39 mm conical steel burr and stepped click adjustment it covers a wide range from filter, while excelling at drawing clarity from light and Nordic-style roasts.
