The Comandante X25 Trailmaster is Comandante's outdoor- and travel-oriented compact manual grinder. It uses the same 39mm conical stainless Nitro Blade (high-nitrogen stainless) burr as the C40, but its housing is a lightweight technopolymer (polymer-and-quartz composite) body that is light and impact-resistant. This standard configuration uses the base axle, without an add-on fine-adjustment drivetrain. Because the burr is identical to the C40's, filter-range particle uniformity and grind character match the higher model, retaining the body typical of conical geometry. The stepped click adjustment makes settings easy to repeat, and the base axle suits filter brewing overall, such as pour-over and French press. To dial the finer espresso range closely, the separate Red Clix fine-adjustment axle is needed. It suits users who want top-tier burr quality in a light package for frequent travel or camping, and those centered on filter brewing.
