Timemore Bricks 01S

Equipment notes

The Bricks 01S is Timemore's desktop electric grinder, a compact unit through which a brand known for hand grinders enters the home electric market. An angular metal body and a tapping mechanism that shakes out residual grounds mark it, giving it the feel of a desktop object. It drives a 40mm conical steel burr (SUS420, S2C-040 series) with a carbon-brush motor. Adjustment is numeric and divided into many fine steps for precise size control, and electric drive gives consistent results across repeated batches without hand-grinding fatigue. A conical-burr axis support reduces wobble. The conical layout carries body, and the range is filter-centered, well suited to pour-over and all-round home use. It suits home users who brew several cups a day and want to skip hand grinding, or anyone after a compact desktop electric grinder.
