Timemore Sculptor 064S

Equipment notes

The Sculptor 064S is an electric single-dose grinder from the Chinese brand Timemore, a premium electric line distinct from its hand-mill lineage. It carries a 64mm flat stainless burr with stepless grind adjustment. With a PID-controlled motor and low-retention design, it is an all-round electric grinder aimed at both espresso and filter. Flat burrs give a narrower particle distribution and higher uniformity than conical burrs, favoring clarity, and the large 64mm diameter raises throughput and batch-to-batch consistency. Stepless adjustment sets values continuously without clicks, enabling fine approach in a tight band such as espresso. The low-retention build reduces carryover when swapping beans in single dosing. It suits home baristas who move between espresso and filter and value uniformity and clarity, and users who prefer a single-dose workflow.
