The Hario V60 Dripper Kasuya Model 02 (KDC-02-B) is a black porcelain brewer developed with 2016 World Brewers Cup champion Tetsu Kasuya to make his 4:6 Method easier to reproduce. It keeps the V60's 60-degree cone and large single outlet but uses a dedicated spiral-rib profile. Unlike a standard V60, the ribs become lower toward the bottom and leave a smoother lower section, slowing drawdown. That added contact time helps medium-coarse to coarse coffee brew with greater concentration. It is the 1-4 cup 02 size and uses Hario V60 size 02 conical paper filters. The porcelain body retains heat well once warm, but it should be preheated thoroughly so it does not pull heat from the brew water.
